Week 7 Waiver Adds Under 50% Owned.

The NFL teams on bye in Week 7 are the Buffalo Bills and the Baltimore Ravens.

As we head into Week 7 of the 2025 NFL season, injuries like David Njoku's knee (further evaluation pending) and Omarion Hampton's ongoing IR stint are shaking up the waiver wire. With the Ravens and Bills on bye, now's the time to snag these under-the-radar adds for streaming, stashing, or plugging holes. Here's a fresh look at five waiver adds heating up based on the latest performances and matchups.

1. Kimani Vidal, RB, Los Angeles Chargers, 28% Owned - Vidal was likely buried on your bench or waivers until his breakout Week 6 explosion, rushing for 112 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries in a statement win over the Broncos, his best game as a rookie. He may not reclaim bell-cow status with his late-round draft pedigree, but Vidal outshined Hassan Haskins, who was barely used (3 carries, 10 yards), showing he's the back to own. Under a Greg Roman-led offense, expect Vidal to grind out tough yards as a flex/RB3 against the Colts' stout front seven, though his volume (15-20 touches) keeps him relevant in PPR leagues.

2. New England Patriots D/ST, 32% Owned - The Pats' defense has quietly been a top-8 unit through six weeks, and they're primed for a smash-spot against the struggling Titans (2-4), who are starting No. 1 overall pick Cam Ward after firing head coach Brian Callahan amid a dismal start. Tennessee ranks bottom-three in turnover rate and EPA allowed, with Ward's inexperience (eight sacks through six weeks) feeding the Pats' opportunistic pass rush.

3. Kayshon Boutte, WR, New England Patriots, 12% Owned - Boutte's box score was electric in Week 6 (5 catches, 93 yards, 2 TDs), but 5 targets in a Drake Maye-led offense signal real volume now that the Pats have clicked at QB after early chaos. Foxboro won't always be in high-scoring affairs, but this evolving attack under OC Josh McDaniels is humming, DeMario Douglas owns slot duties, yet there's room for Boutte as a boom WR3 in PPR leagues, especially versus the Titans' middling secondary.

4. Kameron Johnson, WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 15% Owned - The Buccaneers have a steady hand at QB in Baker Mayfield, paired with a defense that's allowed the fourth-most passing yards this season (482 through six games), forcing Tampa into pass-heavy scripts. Johnson has flashed separation skills at this level, hauling in 4-of-6 targets for 64 yards and a touchdown last week amid Mike Evans' and Chris Godwin Jr.'s hamstring exits. He's a classic boom/bust flex against high-scoring foes like the Falcons, but stash him long-term with the vets nursing tweaks, plenty of targets to share in Josh Grizzard's scheme.

5. Harold Fannin Jr., TE, Cleveland Browns, 18% Owned - Fannin stepped up as the de facto No. 1 tight end after David Njoku's knee tweak, erupting for 7 catches and 81 yards on 10 targets in a loss against the Steelers. Anyone building rapport with Dillon Gabriel, even as a rookie third-rounder, deserves a roster spot. Gabriel's audibling out of runs more than ever, and while Kevin Stefanski's scheme emphasizes the ground game, he won't override Gabriel's checkdowns. Fannin's a deep-league TE1 dart throw based on the matchup.
