Week 5 Bye Weeks: Carolina Panthers / Kansas City Chiefs

Keon Coleman, WR, Buffalo Bills, 5% Owned

Keon has had a roller coaster career with Buffalo, often finding himself in the coach's doghouse last year. A nagging DJ Moore injury allowed Keon to have a breakout game, catching 6 of 7 targets for 116 yards and a touchdown. The timing seemed to be there with Josh Allen as well, which is a good sign. Even if Moore comes back, I'd rather have Keon than Palmer in this offense right now.

Jacoby Brissett, QB, Arizona Cardinals, 17% Owned

Jacoby finds himself in an ideal fantasy matchup. The Lions have a defense that cannot stop anyone, and an offense that can keep themselves in games, often leading to higher scoring games for both sides. Jacoby is worth a stream here against a Detroit team that simply cannot get it together. There are some half decent matchups after the Lions, with the Rams and Broncos on the schedule. Both teams have come back to earth this year on defense due to injuries, so Brissett might be worth a pickup if injuries have derailed your QB slot, you have an underperformer, or you are dealing with a bye week.

Pat Freiermuth, TE, Pittsburgh Steelers, 15% Owned

Pat has held his own in the tight end market this year, hovering around 9 fantasy points per game depending on your scoring settings. He is also approaching a string of soft tight end matchups, Indianapolis, 16th, Tampa Bay, 6th, New Orleans, 7th, and Cleveland, 10th. With the position being as difficult to find consistent production as it is, Freiermuth is worth rostering, especially with this upcoming stretch of matchups.

Tre' Harris, WR, Los Angeles Chargers, 9% Owned

The Chargers offense has been a dumpster fire to start this season, and many owners are contemplating whether they should be dropping or benching Justin Herbert from their rosters this week. But even in the scrap heap, you can still find and eke out some fantasy value. Ladd McConkey has found himself injured and removed from a game again, and carries a questionable tag this week with a foot injury, after previously being removed from an earlier game with a rib injury. Quentin Johnston was supposed to carry the torch this year and take a step forward, but he has failed to do so, even with Ladd missing time. Enter Tre' Harris, who has been demanding targets lately. I'm not promising him to save your season, but the Chargers are hoping he saves theirs.

Mike Gesicki, TE, Cincinnati Bengals, 8% Owned

Gesicki has a soft matchup this week against the Dolphins, who are the 4th worst defense against tight ends, and he has played himself into an everyday starter regardless of the matchup. He has already produced double digit outings against Pittsburgh and Jacksonville, the 24th and 26th ranked defenses against tight ends, respectively. Injury tags on both Chase and Higgins could allow Gesicki to eke out even more value, but even with a 100% healthy Bengals team, he is still worth a roster spot. He has provided a useful outlet for Joe Burrow, and that is a good place to be.
