Week 1 Waiver Adds Under 50% Owned.

ree

Quentin Johnston, WR, LA Chargers, 10% Owned - Quentin was likely on your bench, if anywhere, before his breakout performance this week. He may not be the standout receiver we hoped for given his draft capital, but Johnston might be worth streaming if injuries occur or he faces a weak defense. The Chargers, under Greg Roman, are known for their ground game, but they might be giving Herbert free rein.

ree

Los Angeles Rams D/ST, 29% Owned - The Rams have a solid defense, and the Tennessee Titans are working through some early growing pains with their new QB, Cam Ward (2.84 Fantasy Points).

ree

Joshua Palmer, WR, Buffalo Bills, 25% Owned - Palmer had an unspectacular box score, but nine targets are nothing to scoff at in this offense. The Buffalo Bills may not always need to fight back from multiple-touchdown deficits, but their offense is high-octane. Even though Keon Coleman appears to have emerged as the WR1, there might be enough targets to go around.

ree

Dont'e Thornton Jr., WR, Las Vegas Raiders, 20% Owned - The Raiders have a competent quarterback and a mediocre defense, which means they’ll need to throw to stay in games. Thornton seems able to get open and create separation at this level. He might be a boom/bust flex against high-scoring opponents, but he’s worth stashing, especially with Brock Bowers being banged up.

ree

Calvin Austin, WR, Pittsburgh Steelers, 2% Owned - Calvin appears to be the de facto #2 wideout behind DK Metcalf on the Steelers. Anyone who has the rapport with Aaron Rodgers, even at his age, is worth a look. It also seems Aaron Rodgers was checking out of called runs. Arthur Smith is known for a run-heavy offense, but he won’t override Aaron Rodgers.
